Publisher Phoenixx and developer Team DigitalMind have announced the release of the cat-centric, physics-based sumo wrestling game, “Nyaaaanvy”, on the Nintendo Switch platform. It is launched February 22, 2024. At the moment, this premiere has been confirmed exclusively for Japan.
Nyaaaanvy features mysterious creatures called Nyanvies who They resemble cats and fight using their undulating physics-based bodies. The game offers an online multiplayer mode that allows for custom matches for up to six players or one-on-one competitions in ranked matches. It also includes single-player modes such as Arcade and Survival, where players can take on the mysterious army of Nyanvies and compete for records online.
Additionally, players can customize their Nyanvies changing your body pattern or wearing stylish glasses. It appears to be a unique and fun proposition, taking advantage of the premise of cats in a physics-based sumo wrestling game.
