Today we bring a detail that is undoubtedly very interesting for Nintendo fans. In this case we are talking about a game that is already available on Nintendo Switch. It was originally announced at the February 2021 Nintendo Direct and we now have Outer Wilds available from the past December 7th 2023 on Nintendo Switch. It looks like it has been updated.
Outer Wilds
This patch includes the following:
- Gameplay:
- Fixes were made to places where players could get stuck in the geometry of the level.
- Nomai shuttles now collide with all planets.
- Art and visuals:
- Fixed animation of a specific hologram.
- Fixes for assets that were appearing incorrectly.
- Adjustments to incorrect, misaligned or missing textures and materials.
- LOD improvements to better match high resolution versions.
- Fixes for visual issues, such as chasers stuck on certain animations.
- Visual effects in a specific sequence in the High Energy Laboratory now display correctly.
- Fix for a campfire that wasn’t animating correctly.
- In the museum, the anglerfish lure now glows correctly.
- Fixes for slide reels not always displaying.
- Lighting adjustments and corrections.
- Fixes for several minor visual issues.
- Technology:
- Fixed lag when using Signalscope in a specific situation.
- Improved performance during long gaming sessions.
- Some memory improvements.
- User interface:
- Shipping log markers no longer appear truncated.
- Various minor UI bug fixes.
In the acclaimed and award-winning game Outer Wilds, players take on the role of the newest member of Outer Wilds Ventures, a space program searching for answers in a strange, ever-changing solar system. Players will pilot a spaceship to visit planets filled with relics of an advanced extinct civilization, and navigate all kinds of environments that change over time. They’ll have to explore and solve the mystery before the time loop ends!
