Surely you remember how Overwatch 2 recently revealed its latest collaboration with the renowned anime Cowboy Bebop. Before that, after the premiere of the Invasion update, it seems that Overwatch 2 and its plans for 2024, we learned how they planned to resurrect this title and now we have more details of its future.
Another new collaboration has been announced for the next season. Prepare for an epic fight: Ultrawatch faces off against Ashe in her mythical Empress of Calamities appearance. Plus, she celebrates 100 million heroes with the return of pink Mercy and more. Overwatch 2: Super Mega Ultrawatch Season 11 arrives on June 20.
Prepare to unleash your inner superhero with the legendary skins of Ultrawatch and call upon his power to fight evil. Mythical Empress of Calamities Ashe and her evil henchman BOB have risen to power and only Ultrawatch can stop them. Create calamities with new mythical rewards
By progressing through the Season 11 Premium Battle Pass, being evil will be more fun than ever. This season the evil and magical Ashe, the mythical Empress of Calamities, has appeared and will use her dark magic to defeat Ultrawatch and anyone who dares to stand in her way. She enjoys enhanced visuals like her ultimate, which has a devilish summoning circle and a huge magical rune. You can unlock Ashe Empress of Calamities with 50 Mythic Prisms, then continue collecting Prisms to customize the fiendish Empress with three different builds.
In our mid-season update, we’re adding a new type of cosmetic, Mythic Weapon Skins, which feature exclusive visual and sound effects. Like Heroics, Mythics can be equipped to any aspect of the corresponding Hero. Enjoy this new way to spend your Mythic Prisms: unlock the base skin with 50 Prisms and access additional levels for 10 more, including a weapon flourish emote, removal visuals, and reactive effects.

Lots of fun with Community Building
Community Building returns with Celebrating All Heroes, and we’ve enlisted some of the most beloved Overwatch 2 creators to come up with fun ideas for their favorite heroes. Emongg has ideas for tanks that will make you rock the games. TQQ will be tweaking instant hit damage heroes, so don’t miss out and get shooting heads. As for Custa, things are on fire: prepare for some incredible and explosive changes that bring new and old assets to the projectile damage heroes. Finally, Eskay, the one in charge of tinkering with the props, has explored tricks that will make them fly through the air.

Get exclusive community-created Twitch Drops
When Celebrating All Heroes launches, you’ll be able to watch your favorite Overwatch 2 content creator’s stream starting June 20 to earn new community-created cosmetics. In Twitch’s first Drops campaign, running from June 20 to 24, watch three hours to get Kiriko’s Letter in the Wind graffiti, hand-drawn by community artist Angela Ziegler (@A2Ziegler), and a total of seven hours to obtain the epic Hanzo Nihon skin. In the second campaign from June 25 to 30, watch 3 hours to get the cute rose gold Mercy icon drawn by community artist Dani Ellis (@OWGrandma). This will also be a second chance to get the Letter in the Wind graffiti and the Hanzo Nihon epic skin.**

Explore the peaks of Runasapi
Climb the new advance map, Runasapi, until you reach a hidden town high in the Peruvian Andes. Stroll through markets full of fresh produce and visit the Historical Museum and Monument of the Inti Warriors. This exciting map will be dynamic and challenging as you escort TS-1 through its narrow streets. And be careful, because some fights will take place very close to the steep cliffs that overlook the sunny farmlands below. You’ll be able to play Runasapi in quick and competitive matches when Season 11 launches, and with the Arcade-specific game mode you’ll be able to queue right away.
Kiriko and Soldier Hero Mastery: 76
Sharpen your kunai and fine-tune your aim with the Kiriko and Soldier Hero Mastery Races: 76 single-player launching this season. Practice your Light Step and don the Tactical Visor in the new challenges of a temporary event taking place from June 20 to July 9. Plus, get new rewards and up to 22,500 Battle Pass XP.

Season 11 brings a series of upgrades for various heroes across all three roles. Additionally, Cassidy will swap out her Magnetic Grenade for a new and improved Flash Grenade that will slow down enemies. Thanks to your feedback, we’ve removed the glass from the Colosseo preview map and made other changes so that team fights take place throughout the streets of Rome.
We’re also making it easier for you to complete the weekly challenges. If you forget one week, you can catch up later after completing the current week’s challenges. Weekly milestone rewards are also easier to earn than before. You will now earn 20,000 XP as soon as you complete three weekly challenges. A new milestone reward will be available each week. With these changes, you will be able to play on your own schedule without missing out on XP from the previous week’s Battle Pass.
