Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Remake has been rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board. The ESRB gave the game an E rating for everyone. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door remake has yet to receive an exact release date from Nintendo and is currently slated for a 2024 release. The new rating could mean we’re getting it sooner than expected. For now, this is a summary of the rating:
“This is an adventure role-playing game where players help Mario rescue Princess Peach from an alien group. As players traverse wondrous worlds, interact with characters and engage in turn/puzzle-based combat against paper creatures. Players use various attacks (eg boot kick, hammer kick, fireballs) against cartoon enemies that disappear in stars and coins. A few characters have short flirtatious dialogues (eg “Aren’t you a fine specimen of a man”; “Maybe if I…grab you and give you some sugar”) and/or are designed with large breasts/exaggerated proportions.”
