There was a lot of hype surrounding Penny’s Big Breakaway before it launched, as was the team behind the beloved video game Sonic Mania. However, it doesn’t appear that the hype necessarily translated into sales, as Evening Star said it had to part ways with six team members due to “changing market conditions in the gaming industry and the operational realities of our business.” Let’s hope those affected by the layoffs get back on their feet.
