That’s all about to change: starting September 26, with enough time and effort, all users will have the chance to encounter Pikmin in rare costumes!
From that day on, the unusual accessories will be available for Pikmin dressed as scissors, fishhook and baguette, in addition to those dressed as chef’s hats already in existence. Read on to find out more, and get ready to meet them!
Level up your Rare Accessory to find Rare Costumed Pikmin!
- Starting September 26, a new Rare Accessory Level Indicator will appear in Costumed Pikmin categories where a Rare Accessory is available and where you have already found all the normal Costumed Pikmin. The categories in question are Restaurant, Barber Shop, Waterfront, and Bakery. The Rare Accessory Level Indicator will appear within the corresponding category in your Costumed Pikmin collection.
※ Please note that this indicator will not appear in categories where you have not yet found all the normal disguised Pikmin. - You can increase your level of Rare Costumed Pikmin by gaining Rare Accessory Points, which are earned through various actions, such as starting new Pikmin or releasing Pikmin of the same category.
- Each time a Rare Costumed Pikmin levels up, you’ll receive an expedition for a Golden Gift – only regular Costumed Pikmin of the corresponding category can be sent to collect it. The Pikmin you select to go on the expedition will be the one wearing the Rare Accessory when they return, so be sure to choose the one you want to wear it!
- You can always keep leveling up your Rare Costumed Pikmin. Keep earning Rare Accessory Points and leveling up to meet all the Rare Costumed Pikmin in all categories!
＊Please note that any Restaurant Seedlings you found before September 26 will still have a small chance of becoming Rare Costumed Pikmin even after this new feature is implemented. However, Restaurant Seedlings you find after September 26 will not contain any Rare Costumed Pikmin.
How to get unusual accessory points in Pikmin Bloom
Unusual Accessory Points can be obtained in the following ways:
・Starting a new Pikmin of the corresponding category.
・By finding a new Pikmin disguised as the corresponding category (either by using a large seedling or by increasing the friendship level).
・Releasing a Pikmin of the corresponding category.
＊Please note that you will earn a different amount of points depending on the action.
＊As your unusual accessory level increases, the amount of points required to level up to the next level will also increase.
*Please use version v103 of the app or later for this new feature to appear correctly.
