Piko Protection Protects ODT Rights: Ride Or Die Trying to Translate N64 N

Publisher Piko Interactive has it was revealed that it has acquired rights O.D.T. (or O.D.T: Escape … Or Die You Try as it is known in North America). Interestingly, the agreement also includes the rights to the Nintendo 64 integrated version.

Originally published by Psygnosis, O.D.T. is an action-adventure game that launched on PlayStation and Windows back in 1998. The game sees a group of wanderers embark on a journey to recover an artefact called the Green Pearl after washing in a wrecked ship. It didn't look particularly good during its launch, but the Nintendo 64 port was active for some time.

Two builds of this N64 release were in development (the North American version and the European version) before the idea was finalized (thank you, TCRF

). Whether Piko Interactive has any plans to actually bring the dead port back is unclear at the moment, but it would be interesting to see the official release after all this time.
