Your family is starving and only a miracle can save her. Embark on a journey to the land of the gods to find the legendary Sampo, a treasure of infinite wealth and food. Please the Gods is an old-school atmospheric fantasy role-playing game inspired by Finnish shamanic mythology and table classics like Hero Quest.

Characteristics:

  • Old school dice combat: exchange, destroy and manipulate enemies in this modern version of the classic dice combat.
  • Flexible skill tree: defeat your enemies with an intelligent use of your combat skills: hunting, survival, tradition and companion dog.
  • Find mythical creatures and monsters: defeat the infamous monsters of Finnish mythology, such as Water Hag and the Restless Dead of the Underworld.
  • Survive the implacable Nordic nature: hunting, fishing and fodder to gather forces to survive in the harsh Finnish nature.
  • Win the favor of the gods: complete missions for the ancient pagan gods: Ahti, the delusional god of the deep, Tapio, the god of the gentle forest, and Nyyrikki, the fierce goddess of the hunt.
