Pokémon company has announced two new Facebook games: Pokémon tower War and Pokémon Medallion War.
Tower Battle is described as a puzzle-based physics, developed by Bombay Play, and now available worldwide. Here is the full description:
Pokémon Tower Fight, now available worldwide, is unique to the Pokémon Franchise: Players compete by placing Pokémon with each other to create the tallest Pokémon towers. As players discover, capture and grow rare Pokémon, they can compete in real time against friends or on the global leaderboard. It may seem like a physics-based puzzle at first, but strategic decisions on how players play Pokémon will determine the true masters of Tower Battle.
The Medallion War is now available to players in the Asia-Pacific region and has been developed by GCTurbo. It's a digital card fighting game that requires the player to collect, fight and appear pack animals.
Pokémon Medallion War, now available to players in the Asia-Pacific region, is a strategy game of digital warfare. In games, coaches collect, fight and transform Pokémon in the form of a medallion and begin a journey with their friends to win exercise badges and complete their Pokédex. Players can also find the new Pokémon – which is introduced every month – to create the best stakes.
Pokémon CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara said the launch of the games on Facebook would allow people from all over the world to see Pokémon in digital form. The company is also "very excited" to partner with Facebook Gaming, allowing new viewers to enjoy Pokémon games online.
