Episode One [Wed 11th Nov, 2020 01:30 GMT]: Good News Trainers (well, kind of), Pokémon HOME finally able to connect to Niantic’s augmented-reality smartphone game Pokémon GO. This means you can now transfer pocket monsters from GO to your Pokémon games on the switch.
The catch, according to Serebii.net, is currently limited to Level 40 GO trainers. To transfer the monster to the pocket, you will need to link GO to your Nintendo account under setup options and access the HOME Transporter to send Pokémon across.
Every time you pass a Pokémon Transporter Energy is used, which recovers over time. You can read more about this in our previous posts. Obviously, Shiny Story will use everything power. If you pass a monster, you will receive a one-time Secret Gift of a special Level 100 Melmetal specializing in Gigantamaxing.
There are no details on when this feature will be available to GO low-level coaches yet, but if we hear anything, we will be sure to let you know. Can you use this transfer feature between Pokémon HOME and Pokémon GO right now? Tell us below.
