The creativity of some players never ceases to amaze us and today we get one more sample of them. A Pokémon player has been using his spare time during this quarantine to create something really creative for Pokemon Sword and Shield, revealing a preview to his new project of a app statistics calculator.
This is the Reddit user minimalAtom, which posted their idea on the Pokémon Sword and Shield subreddit recently, leaving many other members of the online community wondering when it would launch for download. Like a bunch of other web and app developers operating on the market today, this budding development faces a big problem in its quest to publish its work: Copyright
This was the comment he shared:
This was built using iPhones / iPad technologies, so it's iOS now alone. But I hope to learn more about Android and web development soon and maybe get something out there for others to use in the future!
Details:
- The concept of the application would allow users to find out, at high speed, how well their Pokemon species behaves at certain levels. It works similarly to Pokemon Showdown, which is available online in a beta version.
- For example, when you click Celebi, you can see that at level 50 it will have a certain attack stat etc. This can even be modified to show effects of a specific nature as well, making it a truly personalized experience – based on images.
Finally, it should be noted that although this application is not possible for these reasons, it does not mean that the idea itself has to be wasted. There are countless fan-made ancillary services like serebii.net and Showdown that are used by gamers every day.
