Since its release yesterday, there have been many questions about Pokémon Home, such as how the app interacts with existing cloud-based service (Pokémon Bank), and the difference between free and paid plans.
When you finally apply for a premium subscription, what happens to the Pokémon you installed when it expires? Here is the full description from the support phase Pokémon Website:
If you add 31 or more Pokémon HOME to a Pokémon HOME while you have a Premium Program, and your plan then changes to the Basic Basic Plan, you will not be able to view or withdraw any of the over 30 Pokémon that you have installed.
By signing up for the Proum Plan, you will be able to view all the information about Pokémon and add it to Pokémon HOME.
So just to be clear – you'll be able to watch and uninstall the first 30 Pokémon you installed. Apart from this, you will need to update your Premium plan to reach others.
For comparison, this is how Pokémon Bank supposedly works when subscriptions expire (via Nintendo support):
If your Pokemon Bank passes away, you have some time to uninstall any Pokemon you have saved right now. Unfortunately, after this time, those Pokemon are lost, and unfortunately we have no way to replace them, even if you buy a new passport.
