It's been three years since Tokyo Mirage Septs #FE blossomed in the West. Back then, JRPG – a joint venture of Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem Franchise – was hailed by critics as one of the best titles of the Wii U, with many fans and critics alike requesting it be submitted to Nintendo Switch. Those prayers have since been answered, in line with the Western version that is listed as the main & # 39; special & # 39; of all places, including Japan.
But not all changes are made. Tokyo Mirage Sses #FE Encore has seen a number of updates, including changes to its UI, a few tweaks to the gameplay and all pre-paid DLC is now automatically installed inside the upgraded port. While its main storyline remains unchanged, Switch Players will now have access to exclusive story content, new songs – designed for the Encore edition – and costumes based on the venerable Fire Emblem: Three Houses. So, if you missed the Wii U version, Encore has you covered.
On the basis of our preview, we will be covering until the end of the third chapter of Encore. In the meantime, we've played 15+ hours so far, taken in a lot of side-effects and completed a & # 39; Exp story & # 39; one for extra content. Also, we've reached the additional addition requirements, paid for DLC in the Wii U. version But for now, here is the final destination for those who are not familiar with the Atlus game.
In Tokyo, the game follows a group of teenagers as they move up and down the stardom level at Fortuna Entertainment. The leader (and the main antagonist), Ituki Aoi, has no partner in art, preferring to support his fellow colleagues; Tsubasa Oribe, Touma Akagi and Kiria Kurono, among other things, as they discover their talents in acting, singing, acting, and acting. But under all the glory and splendor of the rising stars of Fortuna Entertainment it is more of a mystery. Talent agency figures also serve as the Mirage Masters, tasked with protecting the real world from a certain blockade known as the Idolosphere; it is a visible outbreak that causes dangerous outbreaks and illnesses, sometimes treating them as prisoners.
But that's when Tsubasa's sister, Ayaha, returns several years after missing when things started to change for the worse. Idolospheres began popping up all over Tokyo, dragging innocent civilians into ethereal elements to torture them in battle. And the power of the Mirage Masters & # 39; s dwindling, bent in the will of his dark master. Fortunately, Itsuki and Tsubasa joined forces with Fortuna Entertainment's idols to help regain power, gaining the power to tie in with two new boyfriends; Chrom and Caeda from Fire Emblem.
Although Tokyo Mirage Sses #FE attracts some of its best features and looks from the Fire Emblem series, its gameplay is firmly rooted in the domain of Shin Megami Tensei. Pits are built to test in their settings with artificial scenes, random encounters with hidden traps or switches. While revolutionary warfare is represented by a unique formula that gives a sense of humor to its integrated appeal.
Being in the Wii U version, & # 39; Sses & # 39; s always entertaining the crowd at Encore. During the battle, your characters will work together to form chains or & # 39; sses & # 39; s initial and physical attacks after hitting the enemy with a powerless attack. Meeting time together to defeat enemies in one fallen swoop is the key to victory and the downfall of the rare, especially when making & # 39; overkill & # 39; For a classic performance when using levels, Atlus has added the & # 39; Quick Hurry & # 39; feature to Encore, which can be used to be released or canceled to speed up the battle sequences. While schedules are extremely structured, seeing duplicates can be exhausting, so it's nice to see this feature added.
When it comes to user interface, Encore has had to & # 39; t change & # 39; things up. Relying solely on the Wii U GamePad for its instant messaging, maps and enemy stats, these two screens were used well back in 2016. In Switch, there are now little maps in the bottom left corner of the screen (which you can either look at or off) and all of the title dialogues are now given the & # 39; + & # 39 ;, button that attaches the game screen. Now, a rounded icon appears on the upper left side of the screen to alert you for messages. It's still a very difficult feature, only now it sounds like you can't ignore the messages. It's like real life, I think (that's why my phone is quiet…). On the other hand, enemy stats can be accessed by pressing the & # 39; Understandable adjustment, given the difference of the platform.
Perhaps the most appealing to real fans is the ability to play DLC & # 39; EXPedition Hunter & # 39; support quotes, & # 39; Masterful Hunter & # 39; with & # 39; Savage Hunter & # 39; The first requirement is a great way to quickly add your characters by collecting and using & # 39; Tomes & # 39; s to deliver a quick and easy experience. These & # 39; s candy is rare & # 39; they are not available in short order and, if you are not careful, you may end up with over-exposed characters. And in the quest for not revealing ourselves before us, we'll tackle the Masterful and Savage Hunter pieces in a review.
As it stands, Tokyo Mirage Sses #FE Encore has made major changes in its first 15 hours of gameplay. Whether these changes are ongoing throughout the game will be explored in the update. But for now, it's about reincarnation.
