You already know that the Nintendo Switch version is the least criticized, and now we continue to receive interesting details related to Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. We have details on your accessibility options.
According to what we have been able to know, it seems that it will have accessibility options. This is confirmed through the official Ubisoft website:
- These features are intended to reduce common frustrations with Metroidvania-style games.
- The feature called Eye of the Wanderer allows players to take screenshots of areas and mark them on your map for future use.
- There will be an optional “guided mode” that shows where objectives are and whether a path is accessible or blocked during exploration.
- Senior Game Designer Rémi Boutin hopes that features like these will prevent players from getting lost or confused.
- Boutin points out that the Metroidvania genre depends on being able to “take mental notes”, such as remembering and visualizing blocked paths or situations that require tools or powers not yet acquired.
- Accessibility options include colorblind accessibility and customization of controls.
