The excellent Metroidvania game Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown wowed us when it launched on January 9, and Ubisoft has been providing fans with free updates since its release. But now, Sargon will embark on a new chapter of the story when the first part of the DLC arrives on September 17, 2024.
Addressed Mask of darknessThe DLC was teased at Ubisoft Forward in June. And while we don’t know too much about the DLC, we do know that we’ll be exploring a whole new interconnected world with “exclusive biomes” on Mount Qaf. Look, more exploration and fighting in the new world is enough for us.
The announcement came alongside the launch of the Steam release of The Lost Crown, which finally arrived yesterday, August 8th. We’re sure Ubisoft will give us a little more information about Mask of Darkness in the coming weeks, but for now, that’s all we have that teaser trailer from the reveal.
Although this DLC will be paid content, all the free updates to Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown are worth checking out. These include Warrior’s Path, Boss Attack, and Divine Trials.
