Q-Games has announced with the latest Nintendo Indie Direct Showcase that it is bringing the sequel PixelJunk Eden A change this year. Predictably (and logically) named PixelJunk Eden 2 is slated for release this summer and it's great to see Q-Games and studio head Dylan Cuthbert, veteran of Fox star franchise, back to Nintendo's plan following the 2018 season PixelJunk Monsters 2.
This new game sees you controlling a creature known as Grimp on a mission to save your vehicles by going through the production levels based on your actions, all the time to the drudgery of equipment from a Japanese house inspection / technician. Here is the clip, as posted by Nintendo on Twitter:
And an all-inclusive solo experience, the game will come with a local 2-player co-op, too. Here are a few more details from Nintendo's game page:
– The ecological thinking of art and plant life, as evidenced by the flow of ink through paper
– Intelligent categories generated in real time based on player action; in all 10 gardens (categories), each has 5 variants
– A unique action experience born from the techno / techno song harmony of the float and beautiful stylistic views
– 24 types of Grimps have different characteristics. Individual features of Grimp change the game
– 40 types of Spices are available to improve the performance of Grimps
It's a real game it was a real emotional attack so it's exciting to see the sequel coming to Change. No word on the exact price or release date yet, but only a few months left in the summer.
