You know how we always explain The History of Zelda: Breathing in Wildlife as the game continues to give? However, it looks like Crossing the Animals: New Horizons be able to join the club again.
Earlier today, we teamed up for a player's island that was truly repeating stage 1-1 away Super Super Bros.. Custom tiles were used to paint the 2D image of the ground level – impressive enough by itself – but this latest design we stumbled upon did so much more.
In the video below, you will see an animal world recreation that falls within Pokémon Gold and Silver from a YouTube user ヒ ノ ッ チ. It uses a number of custom tiles to create a floor full of classic pixel art from the games itself, but it also combines fantastic plot layouts, terraforming, and drawings that serve as 3D objects to collect or interact with – such as Poké Balls or Trainers.
It's pretty cool. See below.
If you stick to the end, you will be treated to looking at all the tactics used to make everything happen. Oh, and are we saying that the player is running around looking like Cyndaquil? Seriously, watch it.
Animal Crossing players, we salute you. It beats our young minds.
