The hashtag #RipFortnite It's trending on Twitter – with more than 30k tweets at the time of writing – as players protest the current fight against free Epic gaming, Fortnite. Admittedly, a number of these tweets also questioned where the tag was headed, while other players used the same tag to protect the game.

According to ComicBook.com, there doesn't seem to be any reason, except that the game seems to have never been. According to some shameless fans, it's tied to a skill-based game – supposedly making the game too small to play, and even worse. Others, however, lament the recent server problems the game was responsible for because many people around the world do it for themselves.

Of course, Fortnite didn't really die. Far from it given the player's base size and accessibility to all modern devices. Most people love it and others battlefield games now also use the hashtag to make fun of it, and as noted in one of the above tweets, the same players are likely to return to the game.
