We love a good cosplay, and there are a lot of good ones out there. From the uber-realistic to the hyper-stylized, we’ve seen some certified bangers over the years. However, very few of them were as stunning as the little Super Metroid issue we saw over the weekend (thanks @MetroidDatabase).

The cosplay took more than eight months to make and, looking A behind-the-scenes look at the Metroid database on it, it works through a pretty hefty set of controls. Top job, huh?
Of course, this isn’t the first 16-bit-inspired cosplay by any means (take tiny Samus standing next to Mother Brain in the video above for proof), and the added lights and movement of this one convinced us that anyone who could create something this detailed must be some a kind of wizard.
