Well, here’s something you don’t see every day! Arena shooter Xeno Crisis, which launched on the Switch eShop in in 2019 (and has already been released on more retro platforms), is getting a “physical and digital” release for the Game Boy Advance in the Fourth quarter 2024.
Pre-orders are already live on the Bitmap Bureau online store. The package comes with a “region-free” GBA cartridge, a cardboard tray/inserts, an instruction manual, and you’ll also get a “free ROM download”.
This edition will set you back £41.66 (or regional equivalent). You can choose between three different types of packaging (PAL, USA or Japan). If you select the Japanese version, the manual contains only Japanese text.
Below is a bit more about this upcoming physical release from the pre-order page:
“Boxed Xeno Crisis cartridge compatible with Nintendo Game Boy Advance handheld along with instruction manual.
“Xeno Crisis is an arena shooter where you take control of a battle-hardened Marine who embarks on a deadly mission to face an alien threat and return home alive! Run and shoot your way through thousands of opponents as you explore a research outpost, searching for survivors and the final confrontation with the cause of the downfall of the outpost.”
