Looks like the fun isn’t over yet in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – Nintendo announces that new spirits will join the battle later this week. March 22, 2024 in five days.
Games in the spotlight this time around include the upcoming release of Princess Peach: Showtime! and last year’s side-scrolling hit Super Mario Bros. Wonder. When you defeat these ghosts in battle, you will earn more gold than usual. Here’s another look at the promotional artwork released alongside the event:
This event follows on from the game’s fifth anniversary celebration, which included the arrival of the Sora amiibo and multiple other spirits added to the game from series such as Splatoon, Pokémon, and Xenoblade Chronicles.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate also recently got an update, which made it bigger Version 13.0.2. And Nintendo has been busy restocking Smash Bros. amiibo range worldwide over the past month.
