THQNordic is never great on Switch and they know it. They usually focus on bringing that good PS2 energy back to the other two, but also because almost all of Embracer is pretty crap at optimizing for Switch, especially since most of the studios that were good at it are leaving Sabre. It’s fitting then that the only 2 Switch games confirmed so far (Tarsier’s last game was a Nintendo exclusive so we’ll most likely get whatever Pig Guy Game is) where the two IPs don’t actually own.
It’s nice that they let Weappy keep ownership of Goldman. They are Embraces longest running external partner, going back to when it was just Nordic games, and have been doing the same IP for their Intelligent Systems style ever since, but now they have a Donkey Kong they can fully call their own.
