Some reports have recently emerged in 4chan who claim that Sony is interested in buying some IP from Konami, specifically in the case of Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill Y Castlevania.
Although the source does not seem credible by itself, the medium Jack of all controllers it has spoken to verify the information, stating that it has been confirmed by "other sources" to which it has access. Adding to this, it is well known that Sony has always been interested in financing new games Silent Hill looking for its exclusivity, and it would not be strange that at some point you want to buy the franchise; and some others, already in passing.
This rumor is difficult to confirm as it will depend on the outcome of the negotiations. Yes Sony is successful, at some point the purchase and likely exclusivity of PlayStation will be announced. However, if the agreement does not progress, we will probably find out years later from one of the parties involved.
