Eventually, all those rumors and leaks about the Switch 2 will come to an end. In fact, the rumor mill could finally shut down in a few days, where many leaks, insiders and media outlets are now saying that the reveal of the Switch 2 is planned. Of course, every video game console needs games to play on it. There have been rumors about what Nintendo's first-party offerings might be, but there have also been plenty of rumors about third-party offerings as well.

For example, you might recall the new information shared by trusted insider NateTheHate earlier today. Most of it was about the Switch 2 itself, its reveal and release. However, Nate did go into detail about some of the things he's heard regarding Ubisoft and Konami's plans for Nintendo's next console. He said Assassin's Creed Mirage and Assassin's Creed Shadows are planning to release on Switch. The first will be announced within the launch window, while the second will arrive later.

Those aren't the only games Ubisoft is developing for the Switch 2, though. Reportedly, Ubisoft is “working on more than half a dozen games for the Switch 2, and many of them will be late ports. These are from a range of franchises such as The Division and Rainbow Six Siege. There was also some discussion and consideration of doing a Mario Rabbids collection, so it would have one and two in one package. It's just a question of when those games will come out, and for Ubisoft I think if they can port the game, they will port it”.

As for Konami, there isn't that much information. NateTheHate said that one of the third-party games he's heard coming to the Switch 2 is none other than Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. It currently only has a timeline of 2025, so it's not out of the question that if this game comes to the Switch 2, it could be released around the same time as the other platforms. In fact, it's also not out of the question that the game could be dated the same day its Switch 2 version was announced. However, nothing has been officially confirmed. Fortunately, it looks like we won't have long to wait for that to change.
