Games are always evolving, so as long as that’s happen ing, there’s always a chance for a stray rumor or 2 to pop up, even when things tend to be quiet this time of year. For example, there have been rumors related to Capcom’s future plans.
According to insider Dusk Golem, Capcom will announce a major title at the end of this year, which will be released in the fall of 2024. After that, Resident Evil 9 will be released in 2025, with speculation that it will probably be announced the following year. Dusk Golem teases that “they may know every major Resident Evil game that will be released by 2029.” However, aside from information about Resident Evil 9, they haven’t said anything else related to the franchise.
