Rune Factory 5 director comments on inclusion of same-sex character relationships

From Game Informer We bring you a new and interesting message starring one of the most anticipated titles by Nintendo Switch players. We are talking about Rune Factory 5.

In the message that we leave you below, we can know the words offered by the director, Shiro Maekawa

, when asked why they decided to include same-sex relationships in the title. He believes that this way the game will reach more fans.

In a sense (i.e. changing the protagonist’s outward appearance), same-sex marriage was possible in Rune Factory 4, but was not actually implemented.

At the time, this choice was meant to give players the freedom to play however they wanted.

But Rune Factory 5 marks its official inclusion and allows us to welcome more fans to the series. I think we should continue to include this feature in future Rune Factory titles.
