We receive news related to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Apparently, the coronavirus has caused the presentation of the next DLC character to be delayed.

This has been confirmed Masahiro Sakurai, game director, in his last column on Famitsu. He has not shared dates, but he has pointed out that the outbreak has delayed the presentation window and that they are closely following developments because if the virus affects some of the workers, they would have to stop development temporarily. Add that Nintendo may announce the character, but that its development would have to stop.

The creative has not specified when this presentation was scheduled, but it is believed that it would be broadcast similarly to Terry or Byleth. Now it seems they will with some delay.

It is also not known whether this will affect the release plans of all the DLC in the game. Remember that these are 6 more DLC characters that are part of the second Fighters Pass which will launch, in principle, until the end of 2021.

We will be attentive to more details.
