Exciting reports surfaced last night that SEGA and The Sonic Team are working on a remake of Sonic Heroes for modern platforms using Unreal Engine 5. However, according to reliable SEGA Atlus leaker Midori, the game is only being considered by SEGA, which likely means that it has already been conceptualized, but it has not yet received the green light. Midori also said that the report that the game is coming out in 2026 or 2027 is incorrect.
