SEGA’s highly anticipated Sonic x Shadow Generations is now available on Nintendo Switch combining the excellent Sonic Generations and the all-new Shadow the Hedgehog side story. Some of you may be wondering how the plot and story of the Sonic games are connected, and this has now been explained by two SEGA employees on the social media platform, X. Katie (Social Media Manager) and Chris (Associate Lore Manager) explained to a fan that all a collaboration between SEGA Japan, Sonic writers such as Ian Flynn and the SEGA Lore Team. It’s not clear how much emphasis Sonic Team puts on the writing process. Below you can read how the story of the series is generally put together and it is not an easy process.
