SEGA has joined Nintendo in offering a pay rise to its staff after Japan’s prime minister, Fumio Kishida, called on tech companies to raise wages across the board in an effort to attract more staff from overseas. SEGA will now offer its employees a 30% salary increase that will take effect on July 1, 2023. However, it should be noted that newly hired graduates can expect a 35% increase.
