Job Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Science and Creative Strategy, the Transmedia West team is looking for an Archivist to support the growing needs of our team. While documenting Sonic’s legendary history (past, present and future!), you’ll be critical to preserving Sonic’s lore, canon, characters and universe, helping to bring consistency, connection and creativity to all things Sonic across a variety of media including games, animations, comics and much more. This role will work closely with teams around the world. Duties and responsibilities:
- Develops, manages and maintains a multilingual central knowledge base.
- Establishes and improves processes for documenting and updating information within the central knowledge base.
- Maintains a centralized asset library.
- Identifies areas of growth and opportunities to supplement the central knowledge base.
- He works alongside teams around the world to update the central knowledge base as new content is created.
- If necessary, creates and manages a library of physical materials.
- It digitizes physical assets that are added to a central knowledge base.
- Assists in managing input and completing phonics queries.
- Participant in checking and approving land documentation.
- Supports other departments, including game development, marketing, licensing, and animation, through proactive communication, coordination, and timely delivery of materials.
- Able to take on other duties as needed, including supporting non-Sonic IPs in a similar capacity.
