Next year, the Sonic franchise will celebrate its 30th anniversary. It is not yet known what this will include, but it is likely that Nintendo Switch will be a part of it. Whatever it is, SEGA does not say yet. SEGA chief Brand Officer Ivo Gerscovich was asked in a GamingTrend interview about what fans can expect in the coming months of Sonic's celebration. Gerscovich said "yes! We have some exciting news that we can't wait to share. But you have to stay tuned for details".
