SEGA confirmed in a recent video that Sonic fans expecting a new Sonic Central airing this month will be disappointed. The news was shared by Sonic brand social and community manager Katie Chrzanowski, whose comments can be heard at the 10:35 mark in the video below. However, Chrzanowsk said that they haven’t forgotten about Sonic Central and that there will be one in the future.
“I see a lot of people asking about Sonic Central… just because there’s nothing happening today – and I’m going to say it’s not happening this month – doesn’t mean there won’t ever be one. We have no news on when Sonic Central will be, but we haven’t forgotten about it. So don’t worry, keep checking the official channels for any updates on the future Sonic Central.”
