One of the surprises we learned last night at Summer Game Fest is that Sonic x Shadow Generations will feature a special hub world for Shadow to explore, based on the Sonic Frontiers open zone format. The special hub world allows Shadow to explore and uncover secrets hidden everywhere. Unfortunately, there is no gameplay footage of this, but there is one screen shot from the promotional materials that you can check out below. Sonic x Shadow Generations releases on Nintendo Switch on October 25th.
