Sonic Ditches Mario In His Olympic Games Tokyo Release 2020

Ditches, Games, Mario, Olympic, release, Sonic, Tokyo

We're probably used to seeing Mario and Sonic joining forces these days, celebrating (almost) all the Olympic events since 2008 with the prince Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games release, but this year, the blue blur also did things his way.

Joining Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, which was introduced by the switchch last November, is also named Sonic at the Olympics – Tokyo 2020 – mobile title from Sega. It is being launched today on Google Play, the App Store and Amazon Appstore and includes the popular characters of the Sonic series and 15 Olympic sporting events.

It's amazing to see Sonic and co. to take all these issues with the exception of Mario, right?

Interestingly, due to the ongoing global epidemic, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 (and now the new Sonic title) will be the first game in the series to be based on an unprecedented event in the year mentioned in the game. The real Tokyo event was held back in 2021.

Are you tempted to check out Sonic's Olympic offer? Or will you stick to the big screen experience in Switch? Let us know in a familiar place.
