SEGA has it announced its newly published f inancial results for the fiscal year that was between the beginning of April 2022 and the end of December 2022. The Japanese company is performing well, and one of the games that contributed to this is Sonic Team’s latest platform game, Sonic Frontiers. SEGA says the game has sold more than 2.9 million copies worldwide (as of December 31, 2022) and is expected to continue raking in money for SEGA with upcoming downloadable content expected this year along with discounts. Another game that performed well for SEGA was the re-release of Atlus’ acclaimed stylish RPG, Persona 5 Royal, for a number of platforms including the Nintendo Switch family of systems. SEGA says the game has now sold more than 1.3 million units worldwide (as of December 31, 2022).
