It looks like SEGA will be re-releasing the Sonic compilation, Sonic Origins, with additional content as Sonic Origins Plus was recently rated in Korea. The news comes from the Korea Game Rating and Administration Board, although SEGA has yet to confirm its existence. The excellent Sonic Mania was re-released as a Plus version that came with additional content such as new playable characters Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel. Sonic Mania Plus also featured Encore Mode which featured remixed levels and reworked life mechanics, a pinball bonus stage, and a four-player competition mode. Owners of the original Sonic Mania could purchase additional DLC at a low price. Hopefully we won’t have to wait long for SEGA to release Sonic Origins Plus and all the extra content.
