One feature that has been a favorite among a significant portion of Sonic fans is the Chao Gardens, where players can care for Chao and raise them to participate in events such as races and karate tournaments. Chao Gardens hasn’t returned in almost 20 years, and it’s been confirmed that Sonic X Shadow Generations won’t have it either.
However, there is still hope for Chao fans. Not long after confirming that there would be no Chao Gardens in Sun X Shadow Generations, Video Games Chronicle asked Takashi Iizuka about the return of Chao Gardens in a new interview. Iizuka responded by saying that “at some point, yes, because we hear the same thing. Everyone wants it”.
