It’s been rumored for a few days now, but it’s no longer a rumor. SEGA announced in Sony’s latest State of Play presentation that Sonic X Shadow Generations is on the way. It will arrive on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC in Fall 2024.
The game features a remake of the 2011 game Sonic Generations, featuring Modern Sonic and Classic Sonic. It will also have a brand new standalone story campaign featuring Shadow the Hedgehog. You can see the official announcement tweet from the Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account below.
