We’re still months away from Sonic X Shadow Generations, but it looks like Nintendo has already revealed the estimated file size.
According to official listings via the eShop and Nintendo website, the digital version of this remastered edition (with all-new levels starring Shadow the Hedgehog) will take approx. 13.1 GB free space for installation. The original Sonic Generations was about half the size of this on certain platforms.
You can also pre-order the digital version of Sonic X Shadow Generations right now. There is a standard version for $49.99 / £44.99 or the digital deluxe edition which includes skins, BGM pack, digital art book and more for $59.99 / £54.99.
In some other Sonic X Shadow Generations news, the official website of Japan’s Sega has shared new screenshots showing the Kingdom Valley Stage and the Modern Sonic Legacy skin (thanks, Sonic Stadium). It is worth noting that these screenshots were taken from else versions of the game.
Sega also recently revealed that Sonic X Shadow Generations will come with a reversible cover, allowing fans to switch between the Western and Japanese box. You can learn more about this upcoming release in our previous report. We even started the game:
