Sonic X Shadow Generations is the next game in the Sonic saga for 2024 and, it seems to take influences from some other Super Mario title. This remastered version will have additional content starring Shadow, thus being an expansion of the story with a new adventure for another character. It has been rumored that the length of this campaign would equal that of the original story, thus being a 2×1 in Sonic X Shadow Generations. Also including new exclusive mechanics for Shadow.
The new story for Shadow’s campaign draws inspiration from the base game and recent releases. Thus allowing the Sonic series to experiment even more. This approach is similar to how Bowser’s Fury expanded the Super Mario gamesoffering different mechanics and being a long experience in its own right.
He game is scheduled to be released in the fall and has generated great enthusiasm among fans. Apparently, while Shadow faces his pastalso allows the Sonic series to experiment more, much like Bowser’s Fury did with the Super Mario games.
Sonic X Shadow Generations understands that Super Mario 3D World Plus Bowser’s Fury offered two unique experiences at once and seeks to achieve something similar. The length of Generations’ main campaign means that Shadow’s could support the claim that Sonic X Shadow Generations is two experiences in one. Additionally, major changes to Shadow’s gameplay are suggested, which could indicate a future direction for the Sonic series.
