Splatoon 2 Version 5.1.0 Now Live, Here are the Full Patch Notes

As promised, today sees the release of Splatoon 2latest update, taking the game to Version 5.1.0. Nintendo has released full notes on this multiplayer-focused update, and we've shared a complete list of your changes below.

Changes For multiplayer

• Specifications for some of the advanced weapons have been changed.

• Downloading the latest update will avoid the similarities with Shoal players using previous update data.

  With this update we made some changes to the capabilities of some weapons to successfully capture a battle line or ink turf from afar. However, we have limited these changes in such a way that they should not affect the selection of skilled players' weapons by using these weapons.

  Following this review, we plan to look for similar repairs on many other advanced weapons. In addition, we will continue to look for and analyze weapons that appear to have little or no effect, and that also work well with all other weapons.

Nintendo says the next update for Splatoon 2 is slated to release in April 2020.
