We get news about the Splatoon saga. It turns out that the official Japanese Twitter account has shared that Splatoon 2 will receive an update on February 24.
These are the data that have been shared:
- This update will bring the game to version 5.4.0.
- It will mainly contain balance adjustments of the game.
- The update does not appear to contain any information or relationship to Splatoon 3.
- It appears to be a minor update, as Splatoon 2 was last updated in October 2020.

We remind you that Splatoon 2 is available in physical and digital format, through the Switch eShop, since July 21, 2017 and that Splatoon 3 is scheduled to be released sometime in 2022.
