Nintendo has been rolling out all sorts of new updates for squid shooter Splatoon 3, and the next one looks set to arrive later this week.
As dataminer and Splatoon 3 enthusiast ‘OatmealDome’ pointed out on social media, the next version is expected to be out in a few days. As stated on Nintendo’s official Splatoon account, this update will restore the ‘Undertow Spillway’:
Nintendo: Important message from the Undertow Spillway Maintenance Team: “The Undertow Spillway will be closed from 15/04 at 17:00 to 17/04 at 19:00 for inspections and extension work. For safety reasons, access will be closed during this period so we appreciate your patience.”
This new update follows version 7.1.0, which arrived on Switch at the end of March. Includes some fixes, DLC Side order, some updates for SplatNet 3 and more. Last week, Nintendo also shut down online services for the Wii U and 3DS, ending online play for the original Splatoon game.
