It’s only been a little over a week since Splatoon 3 was updated to 3.0.0. It was a big update, and updates like these can have some new issues, so it was only a matter of time before Nintendo released a smaller update.
Of course, that happened tonight. Nintendo has released an update for Splatoon 3, bringing the game to version 3.0.1. According to the patch notes, the update doesn’t really change much. You can see the full patch notes below.
Notification fixes
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused a notification to be sent to a user’s friends, even if that friend’s system friend settings were set to only show their online status to “Best Friends” or “Nobody”.
- If the user and his friends are connected to the same Pool, notifications will continue to appear regardless of the friend’s settings.
