Splatoon 3 continues to receive a lot of support from Nintendo and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. There will be more DLC coming soon that is part of the Expansion Pass, and the game is being updated very regularly with new updates that add more stuff, rebalance the game, and fix bugs.
Well, the latest example of this happened tonight. Nintendo has released a brand new update for Splatoon 3, bringing the game up to version 4.0.2. This update is small, with bug fixes being the main focus of this update. You can see the official patch notes below.
Multiplayer fixes
- Fixed an issue where the game ran slower than expected during battles compared to Ver. 3.1.1 or earlier.
- Measures have been taken to address an issue in Clam Blitz mode where a player would add a clam or power clam to an ally standing in front of the goal, that clam or power clam would remain in the ally’s possession even if it counted as entering the goal.
- Fixed an issue in Clam Blitz mode that sometimes caused the clam not to travel according to the intended path shown when pressing the throw button.
- Fixed an issue in Anarchy Battle (open) that always caused a communication error when joining a group with friends, depending on the status of the group members.
Fixes for Salmon Run
