Splatoon 3 continues to receive a lot of support from Nintendo and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. The game received DLC support thanks to the Expansion Pass, and the game is updated very regularly with new updates that add more stuff, rebalance the game, and fix bugs.
Well, Nintendo decided to release another update for the game tonight. After you update the game, Splatoon 3 should now be on version 9.1.0. This update is small. In fact, according to the patch notes, only 5 things were done, and 4 of those things were bug fixes. You can see the full patch notes below.
Changes to Splatfests
- Information related to the event Veliki festival has been added.
This update focuses on adding data for the Grand Festival event.
The next update will focus on changes to battle balance based on long-term analysis of battle data.
Multiplayer fixes
- Fixed an issue where songs played during battles were weighted towards certain songs.
Fixes for Salmon Run
- Fixed an issue where when a Squeezer player got a blaster for the next wave, the shots would sometimes not fire correctly when pressing the ZR button quickly and repeatedly.
- Fixed an issue where when the tide level changes while the player is performing certain actions while submerged in ink on a wall, the player would sometimes go under the surface of the water.
Other repairs
- Fixed an issue with photo mode where the sound effect sometimes did not play when performing zoom or tilt actions.
