Nintendo has a habit of updating Splatoon 3 battle stages from time to time. Why wouldn’t it be? However, Splatoon is a lore-heavy series, so whenever a stage is suddenly missing from the daily rotation, there has to be a reason for it. And so we will once again see a temporary shutdown next week.
Listening to the voices of many disgruntled inkers, Mincemeat Metalworks is the next stage to receive some eagerly awaited TLC. The map will be out of bounds 4:00 PM PT January 21st to 6:00 PM PT January 23rd
Mincemeat has long been one of the more contentious phases of the game in Splatoon 3, with its limited route options making it heavily skewed in favor of ranged weapon users. Let’s hope the update changes things when we’re allowed back next week.
