Indie title Sports Story didn’t get off to the best start last year when it fell into the shadows. Since then, Sidebar Games has been hard at work delivering numerous fixes. With that in mind, version 1.0.5 will be arriving in the near future.
The patch notes for this update have already been released, and what’s interesting is that even more changes are listed in the “Secret Dev Room”. Here’s the full review:

Secret Dev Room
- Secret Dev Room 80% removed.
- Secret access to Secret Dev Room patched.
- Restored regular access to developer secret room.

- Fixed a bug in fishing that caused the player to float in the air.
- Updated context for Wildlands trash challenge.
- Fixed some multiplayer golf issues
- Fixed several places where the player could get stuck while exploring
- Fixed save file loading issue being garbled.
- Perfect golf shots are rewarded with a distinctive sound.
- A golf power shot hits a bit further.
- Rustling Vale chipping challenges will remain after leaving the area.
We reached out to developer Sidebar Games last month about updates to the Secret Dev Room and received the following response:
“Unfortunately, we cannot comment on the origin of the secret development room. Efforts are being made to remove it from the game, but it is proving difficult due to the way the game is programmed.”
