Last month Stardew Valley creator Eric ‘ConcernedApe’ Barone finally a release date for version 1.6 has been locked in, confirming that it will arrive March 19, 2024 on the computer. Coming soon on consoles and mobile.
Now, to fill in the time between now and then, he’s shared an interesting segment from the 1.6 patch notes about some tweaks to fruit trees. Here it is in its entirety:
“Cutting down a fruit tree now yields a suitable fruit seedling. If the tree is mature (ie the quality of the fruit is > basic), it will produce a sapling of the same quality as the fruits. The higher the quality, the faster the seedling will ripen when replanted.”
